Capt. JJ Hollis has spent a lifetime diving, surfing and sailing in waters from Florida to the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Florida Keys. He first started learning his trade while growing up working in his family owned dive shops. He relished his early exposure to the wonders and excitement of everything water related and, after many years of commercial fishing and diving, then converted his passion and experience into a thriving charter business for fishing, diving and touring. He loves and lives the marine life in every aspect, even to the point of residing aboard his 41’ sailboat.

Capt. JJ is a successful businessman and entrepreneur, having started and operated several small companies over the past 40 years. Currently operating out of SkipJack Resort & Marina in Marathon, Fl., Capt. JJ relies on his 25+ years experience as a licensed commercial fisherman to provide the kind of thrilling adventures people dream of when they come to the Keys. He is also a PADI certified dive master which, combined with a lifetime of fishing and diving experience, guarantees you a great time whether trolling offshore for big game,  fishing the reefs or going under for lobster.
